Repair putties are pastes that are often comprised of two different agents which are kneaded together, applied, and allowed to cure. They are great tools when repairing small leaks in AC/R systems. Using Air Conditioner Repair Putty
When using an external air conditioner repair putty, the first step is to identify and locate any leaks in the system using any standard leak detection method. Next, you should turn off the system. Clean the area surrounding the hole thoroughly so that the putty can adhere well. Knead together an appropriate amount of air conditioner repair putty. Then apply the putty so that it completely surrounds the section of pipe on which the leak is located, and allow to cure for the suggested duration.
